Inocybe Technologies Ramps Up for Growth

Inocybe Technologies has expanded its global presence with offices now in San Francisco, Boston and London supporting the growing market demand for Open Networking solutions within both the enterprise and evolving service provider ecosystems. Lead by an experienced management team with extensive experience in delivering innovative cloud and networking technologies in both startup and established technology companies, Inocybe also hired industry veteran and visionary John Zannos as Chief Revenue Officer leading global sales, marketing, alliances and customer engineering.

Cloud, IoT and 5G are changing how modern networks are operated and deployed at scale. Inocybe’s Open Networking Platform is the first to enable enterprises and service providers to deploy software defined networking (SDN) and network function virtualization (NFV) solutions across an integrated and consumable environment.

Zannos has a successful track record of growing software, cloud and networking businesses. He brings leadership experience in the technology sector, including data centers, virtualization, cloud, telecoms and enterprise software. As an industry leader Zannos has served as the Chairman of the OpenPOWER Foundation, board member for Open-Orchestrator Foundation (Open-O), OPNFV, and the OpenStack Foundation. He also was one the early participants in ONAP. Prior to Inocybe, he served as the Vice President of the Cloud Platform Business and Business Development at Canonical. Prior to joining Canonical, Zannos held leadership positions at Hewlett Packard (HP), Compaq, Digital and ARCO.
