Daegis Releases DocHunter 6.0 for eDiscovery

DocHunter 6.0 enables law firms, corporate legal departments and government entities to process, host, search, review and produce documents for legal matters. DocHunter, the technology hub of Daegis’ eDiscovery solutions suite, has been used by clients for over six years, and offers advanced functionality in the areas of early case assessment, data analytics, review and production.

Today’s release of DocHunter 6.0 expands Daegis’ Matter Lifecycle Management process with improved processing speed, efficiency, quality control and reporting. Specifically:

Boosted speed – DocHunter 6.0 is optimized for peak performance. The improved performance can be attributed to improved processing speeds that get data online and ready for review faster.

Increased efficiency – Automated workflow for document review, quality control and production means that review can move along without waiting for human intervention. The new review batch automation feature streamlines the process of managing the review process by utilizing automation for the setup, review and quality control workflow, and eliminates opportunities for human error.

Improved quality control - Automatic creation of sampling batches helps Daegis’ eDiscovery Analytics Consultants (eDACs) improve search queries and achieve higher responsiveness rates for review.

Clients who use DocHunter 6.0 can quickly analyze their data, target relevant information and reduce the volume of review data while producing higher responsiveness rates by working with the eDACs. DocHunter 6.0 provides many options for analyzing and culling data from traditional methods such as file type, date restriction and full text/metadata searching to file categorization and email domain data groupings. These substantive data sets migrate directly to the DocHunter review platform and empower the user to easily move back and forth between the review set and source data.
