TA Services Closes KPI Logistics Deal

TA Services has completed the acquisition of San Diego, CA based KPI Logistics, a multimodal 3PL specializing in Truckload, LTL, Flatbed, and Managed Transportation services. The acquisition of KPI Logistics is part of TA Services’ commitment to continued brokerage growth and expansion of service offerings for new and existing customers.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

KPI Logistics was founded in 2010 and has built its foundation on collaborative, long-term relationships to serve the specialized needs of shippers throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. KPI Logistics has appeared on both the Inc. 500 and Inc. 5000 lists of fastest growing companies for multiple years and has been recognized by the San Diego Business Journal’s list of 100 fastest growing private companies three years in a row.

KPI Logistics’ San Diego office expands TA Services’ US footprint to coast-to-coast coverage and provides a greater presence on the West Coast for future growth.

The acquisition of KPI Logistics is another example of recent strategic developments in TA Services’ business, building on the acquisition of C2 Freight Resources in May 2022, Scout Logistics in August 2021, Top Gun Freight in November 2020, the merger with Sellers Logistics in December 2019, and the acquisition of Celadon Logistics in April 2019.
