VMware’s Shekar Ayyar
Launches AdMY Technologies SPAC

Ayyar, executive vice president and general manager, VMware
Telco and Edge Cloud, is filing a Registration Statement on Form
S-1 with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in
connection with AdMY Technologies, Inc., an independent special
purpose acquisition company (SPAC). AdMY intends to invest in
telco, 5G and edge areas and businesses that are expected to
have objectives that are complementary with VMware’s telco and
While AdMY is independent from VMware, Ayyar expects to continue
to work through the SPAC to identify opportunities to work with
VMware’s telco and edge ecosystem. Ayyar will continue to serve
as a special advisor to Zane Rowe, VMware’s interim CEO, through
the second quarter of the company’s fiscal year 2022.
